Facilities

Our center is equipped with a large open area for group activities. Specially designed activity centers stimulate the interest of small groups or individuals, as both independent and cooperative play is encouraged. Other areas for independent exploration included the Art Center, Computer Lab, Playdough Table, Puzzle Table. The Dramatic Play area, game tables and a large area for floor play with trains, tracks, trucks, and blocks help the children learn cooperative play.
A large indoor gymnasium provides space for indoor play when the weather is either too hot or wet for outdoor play. We have a large variety of equipment for the teachers to incorportate during the time in the gym.
The climbing apparatus out-of-doors permits large muscle development as well as hours of fun and fresh air. Gardening units add to the appeal of this area and are used by the classes in their learning projects. Many tricycles, scooters and bicycles are enjoyed by the children during their time outside. Our fully fenced and screened playground is enjoyed by the children. Many of the parents enjoy observing the playground activity from their offices in one of the three office towers in the Lloyd Center area.
Waterplay using hoses and water tables is a significant part of the summer program. Children love incorporating the water into their usual activities.
